Fall in Atlanta: Pumpkin Patches, Haunted Houses, Halloween Bars & Things to Do

Fall is one of my favorite times to explore Atlanta. From pumpkin patches and cozy fall activities to seriously scary haunted houses and over-the-top Halloween bars and restaurants, there are so many fun seasonal experiences around the city. These are places I’ve personally visited and shared on VeggieTravelGirl.

🎃 Pumpkin Patches + Fall Activities

  • Scottsdale Farms

Near Atlanta • Pumpkin patch • Fall activity

A fun fall stop near Atlanta that I’ve visited and shared on VeggieTravelGirl — a great way to get into the pumpkin-patch spirit. Check the farm’s website for this season’s dates, hours and tickets before you go.

😱 Haunted Houses + Scary Experiences

  • NETHERWORLD Haunted House

Atlanta area • Haunted house • For people who want a real scare

    👻 Miranda’s Scare Rating: 😱😱😱😱😱 — VERY SCARY

If you’re looking for something actually scary, NETHERWORLD delivers. I’ve been to plenty of Halloween attractions, but this one is intense. The sets, actors, effects and overall atmosphere make it feel incredibly immersive, and there were plenty of moments that genuinely scared me. This one is for people who WANT a genuinely scary Halloween experience. Check the official site for current dates, tickets and age guidance.

👻 Halloween Bars + Restaurants

  • Spookeasy

Atlanta • Seasonal Halloween cocktail bar

A Halloween-themed seasonal cocktail bar experience that I personally visited — spooky décor and themed drinks make it a fun night out during the season. Check current dates and reservation details before going.

  • Real Tacos

Atlanta • Restaurant • Halloween décor

One of my Halloween-themed food stops. The decorations and atmosphere go all out for the season, which made it such a fun place to eat. It’s not a vegetarian restaurant, so ask about vegetarian options when you order.

  • Hamp & Harry’s

Atlanta • Bar + restaurant • Seasonal décor

Another seasonal spot I’ve personally visited — the Halloween atmosphere makes it a fun stop for drinks or a bite during fall.
